This is a complaint not from a customer's perspective, but an EMPLOYEE'S perspective. DO NOT WORK FOR KCNC...EVER!!! THEY ARE FRAUDULENT AND THEY SCAM EVERYONE...BOTH EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS. Here's a list of KCNC’s fraudulent and degrading employment SCAMS: (1) They post an ad for employment saying they'll pay you $400/week, no canvassing required, that you will be an "product demonstrator", and appointment setters get you your appointments (not you). (2) After getting hired (the same day, no resume, nothing required..hired on the spot), they tell you instead that you will be working as an "independent contractor" - NOT an employee. (3) After going to "training" on how to sell Kirby vacuums (basically boot camp on knowing how to rip people off, unbeknownst to the innocent "independent contractors", all who think they are training for a regular sales job). The training is NOT paid for, and it will last for weeks (which means the person is really not getting the $400/week check (failing on the promise listed in Item #1 above). (4) The managers jam everyone into a company van and make you canvass and set your own appointments (AGAIN, failing on the promise listed in Item #1 above). Meanwhile, the "managers" are chilling in the van laughing at whoever is canvassing. (5) They make you work 12-13 hours a day. If you're canvassing and find yourself needing to go to the bathroom...the low life "managers" will not come back with the van to pick you up. You will either have to go in the bush or ask the disgruntled homeowners nearby to use their bathroom (highly unlikely they'll say yes). (6) If it happens to rain (heavy rain by the way) while you're canvassing and you ask for an umbrella, the "managers" say, "You're not made of sugar...you won't melt." In other words, "F*** you and deal with the rain while I get to chill in my van and stay dry." (7) Make you canvass low-income and very dangerous neighborhoods (yes, they make you sell $2,000 Kirby vacuums in a neighborhood where the customers can't even afford to pay their rent). The "managers" don't care if they send a vulnerable innocent FEMALE to a dangerous neighborhood IN THE NIGHT TIME either. They will send females ALONE to the wolves while laughing in their van. FALSE PROMISES ON BOTH ENDS OF THE COMPANY - IN EMPLOYMENT & IN SALES. If you see a Kirby salesman at your door, just know that some of them are innocent people that were scammed into the job themselves and don't know it. Please don't hate on all of the sales people. In fact, you can print a copy of this posting and hand it to the innocent salesman (if you have one appear at your door) that was scammed himself and do him a favor. AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, look behind or around the salesman at your door and locate the company van that has the REAL SCAMMER sitting in the driver’s seat and YELL AT HIM for all the cruel things they do to everyone and will continue to do so!!!

These deadbeats knocked on my mother-in-laws door and wormed their way into her home. She is a recent widow and in poor health. Though an exhausting sales pitch, they convinced her to buy a Kirby. She is too frail to even pick up the thing. What a scam!

These people dont even deserve a star. I bought a kirby vaccum from them and when I had a question during the financing process they showed up at my house and took the vaccum. And now they refuse to refund my deposit of 100 dollars. I tried talking to the manager marc and he laughed and said too bad, call who ever you want were not giving it back! so they came to my house into my life and ripped me off! they are crooks! dont ever call them or use there service. if they come a knocking run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
